LST COLOR SORTER

Seed Color Sorter

SEED SORTING

Seed sorting depends on size, shape, coating condition and the defects that must be removed. The sample should be checked before the machine is chosen, especially when the impurity is small or close in color.

What to send first

Seed type, size range, coating condition, impurity profile and normal throughput.

What we look for

Off-color seeds, damaged seeds, immature material and visually contrasting impurities.

What to record

Feed condition, accepted stream, reject stream and the settings used during the sample test.

BEFORE QUOTING

Before we recommend a seed sorter

Small seeds can look simple in a photo but behave differently in the feeder. The test should check both visibility and flow.

  • Seed profileSeed type, coating, size range and whether the sample is dusty, mixed or fragile.
  • Impurity profileOff-color seeds, immature seeds, damaged seeds and any contrasting impurities.
  • Test recordFeed condition, selected settings, accepted stream and reject stream from the same sample run.

Tell us which seed you process, the target defects and the throughput required.

Tell us about your sorting project

Share the material you process, the visible defects you need to remove and your target throughput. If you can send a representative sample, we can plan the selection around real test conditions.
